Charles Dickens was an English novelist and social critic. All his novels focus on the major social issues in Victorian England. The Pickwick Papers is Dickens' first novel. It gives a humorous account of some of Dickens' funniest characters. The main characters of the novel decide to take a journey through England to find out and record the lives of people in England. The hilarious situations that the characters keep falling in make the novel a fun read.
