Jane Austen was an English novelist who wrote some of the most loved novels in English literature. Pride and Prejudice is an eternal romance at heart, but it also captures the nature of the nineteenth century English society in a very realistic way. The story is about the courtship of Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy. Each is attracted to the other but is held back by their temperament.
