Ivanhoe

Sir Walter Scott was a Scottish novelist and a legal practitioner. He mostly wrote historical novels, which are still popular among readers. Ivanhoe is a novel set in medieval England. It tells the story of Ivanhoe, a brave noble who returns to England after a crusade to be with his lady love, but he finds himself caught in a dangerous struggle for power between King Richard and his evil brother.
