This book has been written after examining contemporary environmental problems along with the background of global environmental changes. It also studies literary works such as Sangam literature, Kambaramayanam, Silappathikaram, Periyapuranam, Bhakti literature, and later prabandha works like Pallu and Kuravanji. In addition, the poems of Subramania Bharati, Bharathidasan, and Kavimani are analyzed. Through these studies, the book extensively explores the principles and approaches related to the traditional aesthetic sensibilities present in the Tamil literary tradition.
