Even those who know the entire Ramayana do not know much about Dasharatha. The book presents rich information, rather than references to Dasharatha, who is known as a legend. The book praises Dasharatha, who was greater in knowledge, governance, and qualities than Ravana, and who surpassed the status of a god.
