The reaction of the people will depend on the message they are sending out. I have not committed any of the crimes that have been attributed to me. I am innocent. In the strength of my innocence, I call upon the Ogoni people, other sections of the Niger Delta and the oppressed ethnic minorities of Nigeria to rise up and fight for their rights without fear and peacefully. History is on our side, and so is God. The Holy Quran says; There is no sin in fighting when oppressed. Allah will punish the oppressor. May that good day come.
